Promos & Rising Costs

We're mid-way through June and seeing ever more notices from our supplier partners that they just can't avoid increasing pricing any longer. Unfortunately, the status of the current national and global market will impact pricing on some of the products we offer.

One of our suppliers said it best, so we'll defer to their explanation of the rising costs:

"As everyone is most likely aware, the U.S. economy is experiencing a highly inflationary period. Our raw material and transportation costs have increased dramatically in recent months, and we expect this trend to continue. Labor costs have risen as well. While we diligently strive to control our costs and minimize the effects on our customers, we are no longer able to offset the increases we have experienced.

"In addition to the challenge of rising costs, we have also experienced disruptions to our supply chain. The effect has been to cause longer than normal lead times for many of our products. These challenges are certainly not unique to us. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Widespread raw material manufacturing delays and outages
• Freight interruptions from winter storms and driver shortages
• Labor shortages from key raw material suppliers"

What does this mean for you, our customer?

You may see an increase in prices on some of your products. This will likely be most notable if you re-order an item you've ordered in the past. Our industry generally does a great job of keeping prices fairly consistent, so you may note an unusual change on your invoice when these supplier-driven increases are applied.

For our part at East Beach Specialties, we will continue to give our customers the best pricing we can by partnering with trusted suppliers who are diligently working to minimize disruption and implementing cost control measures. As always, we will do our best to find you quality product solutions at the best possible pricing.
